Dual Battery Balancer: For Running Two Batteries Of The Same Voltage in Parallel (No Regen)

Description

It allows two batteries to be safely used in parallel. They need to be the same voltage (eg both 14S/52V for example), but they can be different capacities and cell types. Only two batteries can be ran in parallel. It supports discharge current of 60A and batteries from 36V to 52V. It does not permit regen.

This device prevents the possibility of one battery charging the other through the discharge leads when two batteries are connected in parallel. Unlike regen, which is short-lived, running two batteries in parallel runs the risk of one battery charging the other (or a low cell group within the other battery) at very high current for a prolonged period of time. This can damage the cells and/or the BMS. The dual battery balancer prevents this.
